Products Description
HFDD2 is a compact and flexible single-boom face drilling rig engineered for underground mining and drifting. Featuring a long boom based on the standard DD1 rig model, this underground drilling rig well adapts to drifts with cross sections ranging 2.8m x 2.8m to 6m x 6m. The patented boom and compact structure make it an ideal choice for underground drilling operations. Two different versions are available, DD2 is standard, DD2-N is narrower for smaller mine drifts.
Features and benefits
1.Telescopic Boom The long boom design increases the coverage of drilling, and it can meet the need of drifts and tunnels' section of 6m x 6m. The parallel boom has a large optimized coverage area, 360-degree rotation and full automatic parallelism, enabling accurate wall hole and cut hole drilling operations with just one positioning. This robust structure improves drilling efficiency and enhances blasting results—reducing cycle time and boosting overall productivity of this single boom jumbo. 2.Telescopic Feed (Optional) The optional dual-slide telescopic feed beam allows for both single-layer operation for bolt hole drilling and dual-layer extension for face drilling. This dual-function design enhances flexibility across multiple drilling applications, significantly improving efficiency in short-hole blasting and reducing the need for underground equipment repositioning. 3.Powerful Rock Drill Equipped with a high-pressure, low-flow hydraulic system, the rock drill achieves fast penetration rates in hard rock conditions (up to F17) and minimizes drilling tool consumption. Its proven double-damping design reduces vibration and protects key components, resulting in extended service life and lower operating costs. A powerful 18 kW rock drifter comes standard, with options up to 20 kW or 22 kW models for higher performance needs. 4.High-performance Hydraulic System The hydraulic system is powered by an internationally renowned plunger pump. An automatic anti-jamming and retraction function is integrated to effectively prevent for rod and bit sticking, reducing wear on drill components and minimizing unplanned downtime. This intelligent system not only protects rock drill and drilling tools but also enhances overall underground drilling machine reliability and operational efficiency. 5.FOPS & ROPS Safety Canopy Given the inherent risks associated with drilling operations, such as falling rocks, equipment rollover, it is crucial to ensure the safety of operators. Our addresses these concerns by equipping the drilling rig machine with canopy certified for FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) and ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure), providing robust protection for operators.
