Products Description
HFDD4-2b is a double-boom face drilling rig for mining and tunneling applications with coverage area from 4.5 × 4.5 m to 8 × 6.8 m. It features two independent, fully hydraulic drilling systems that can operate simultaneously without interference. With a high-power rock drill, the rig delivers a penertration rate of 2.5 m per minute, and offer strong adaptability and high efficiency in various underground environments.
Features and Benefits
1.Hydraulic Rock Drills With high pressure and low flow hydraulic system. The rock drill delivers high penetration rates in hard rock (< F17) and low drilling steel consumption. With the classic double damping design, the service life is long and the running cost is low. 18kw rock drill is standard, and higher power 20kW or 22kW rock drill is optional. 2.Coordinated Operation The double-boom configuration is equipped with two separately controlled, hydraulic drilling systems. Each boom can operate independently on different sections of the drift without interference, enabling simultaneous drilling tasks. This parallel operation significantly improves work efficiency, reduces idle time, and enhances overall project progress in multi-task working environments. 3.Extension Boom With a Fully Hydraulic Parallel Holding System The dual-triangle hydraulic parallelism drill boom delivers extended reach and a broader working range. With swing-boom support, the feed assembly enhances visibility and positioning. The 1500 mm telescopic extension increases coverage, enabling full-face drilling in one stop. 4.Chassis The equipped diesel engine complies with the China III emission standards. Equipped with multiple wet braking discs on four wheels and dual-circuit braking system, the chassis ensures safe and reliable tramming and parking . The central articulated design, hydraulic power steering, four-wheel drive, and ±40° steering angle provide excellent mobility in narrow drifts. 5.Hydraulic Control System The automatic rod anti-jamming and return system can protect rock drill and drill tools. Additionally, a built-in collision protection valve safeguards the rock drill and drilling tools from damage due to unexpected resistance or misalignment. This intelligent protection setup not only reduces maintenance downtime but also extends the lifespan of key components, ensuring safer and more reliable operation in demanding underground conditions. 6.FOPS & ROPS Safety Canopy Given the inherent risks associated with drilling operations, such as falling rocks, equipment rollover, it is crucial to ensure the safety of operators. Our addresses these concerns by equipping product drilling rigs with canopy certified for FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) and ROPS (Roll Over Protective Structure), providing robust protection for operators.
